Keto Chocolate Lava Cakes with a Deliciously Rich Molten Center
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup cubed unsalted butter
- 2 oz. 90% cocoa dark chocolate
- 2 eggs
- pinch cayenne
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp. sweetener
- 1/8 tsp sea salt
- 1 1/2 tbsp. almond flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
- Grease four ramekins with butter.
- Place the ramekins onto the baking sheet.
- Set up a double boiler by simmering water into a saucepan.
- Place a bowl over the simmering water.
- Add chocolate and butter to the bowl and cook for 3 to 4 minutes to melt.
- Mix in cayenne and vanilla.
- Meanwhile, add sea salt and eggs to another bowl and beat with a hand mixer at high speed for 1 minute.
- Add the almond flour and melted chocolate and continue beating until smooth.
- Divide the batter between the two ramekins and bake for 7 to 9 minutes.
- Remove the ramekins from the oven.
- Allow the cakes to stand for 1 minute.
